Corrections Policy

How to report and how ModernMania handles factual, calculation and editorial errors.

Last reviewed: September 9, 2026

Our commitment

Accuracy supports reader trust. When a credible error is identified, we investigate the original claim, applicable source, date and potential impact. We correct confirmed errors rather than silently preserving a misleading statement.

What counts as a correction

Corrections can include inaccurate facts, incorrect formulas, broken tool behavior, misleading labels, materially outdated platform requirements, attribution errors or omissions that change the reasonable interpretation of a page. Differences of preference or style are not automatically errors.

How to report an issue

Email support@modernmania.site with “Correction request” in the subject. Include the exact URL, quoted text or tool step, why it appears incorrect and a reliable supporting source. Do not include sensitive account information.

Review process

  1. We log and assess the report.
  2. We reproduce a tool issue or compare the claim with appropriate sources.
  3. We determine whether to correct, clarify, update, remove or retain the material.
  4. For material changes, we may add a dated correction note.
  5. We may reply with the outcome when contact information is available.

Types of changes

Minor edits include spelling, grammar, formatting or non-material link maintenance and may not receive a note. Substantive corrections change a fact, formula or conclusion and may receive a visible note. Updates reflect new information that was not previously erroneous. Retractions are reserved for material that cannot be responsibly corrected in place.

Appeals

If you believe a report was misunderstood, reply with additional evidence and request reconsideration. Repeated unsupported demands, attempts to remove accurate criticism or threats intended to influence independent editorial judgment will not determine the outcome.
